This might be one of the most fun and unique projects we’ve had the pleasure of working on. What started out life as a rusty shell of a Triumph TR6 was transformed into a rip snorting roadster destined for the track. 

 

The original build plan was to fit this little British sports car with a Jaguar V12. To accomplish this we cut and stretched the body 6 inches then built a new chassis utilizing modified Heidts IFS and IRS suspension. Other notable modifications included completely custom floors, dash, Lexan windshield, stainless exhaust and stainless fuel tank. 

 

Deep into the project, the owner was unable to finish the car and it sat in our showroom for many years. After putting out some feelers, we finally found a new buyer who was excited to get the Triumph running and driving in time for Holley LS Fest West 2026. To make that happen, the V12 was removed in favor of a built LS3. We also built a custom roll bar and fitted the LS with our own Holley dual carb fuel injection system. Finally, Bayly Performance in Lakewood, CA modified a set of headers to send the exhaust in front of the engine with cutouts then reconnecting to the rest of our stainless exhaust system.

 

Needless to say, this is one wild ride!
